For refernce last years 215 dressed 1997 buck 235 dressed MI is the 3rd fattest state in the Union:D I would say Idaho produces better than ave sized bucks but nothing like the mid west states.. We tend to fall a bit on mass and body size.. A big buck here will go 250 on the hoof.. Mountain bucks that is.. The ag bucks in some areas push 300 live weight..but honeslty I can count the ones I have seen on one hand.. Most bucks here gotta be 3.5 or older to even make 200..live weight from the data I have kept .. I denfinately think on the whole Mich big bucks versus our same aged bucks..you guys have bigger bodies..forsure.. Stretch was really long.. big deep chest too.. I am confident he was right around 220 maybe 230 LW.. good buck for here.. |

I personally think like Will said...some my not be honest....and quite frankly the scoring system itself is often misunderstood That is a good/great buck anywhere.
