I want to beat him at his own game, I have 3 small food plots. I do not hunt near any of them, because I never see any damn deer in them[&:] We have too much food around me.

As soon as I put anyting out, the gig is up, and he can stay across the river and eat all the beans and corn he wants;)

Funny, Gary....

The farmer to my south cut his beans, this week. I was on the phone with Rob, yesterday when I rode by. I think I squealed like a girl when I saw he'd cut them.

They gott come onto my side, now, to eat.....once they eat up all the acorns in their bedroom. I'm predicting I start seeing a few bucks, now........and I hope I'm right. Like I said....I still will hunt the fringes until mid-Nov.....and I'll still take a doe on the fringes.

No beans, for me, = more deer looking for alternate food sources. They have a reason now to come on my side.

Did I say congratulation, Troy enough?.....lol:D

We don't bait/feed either, but we do have clover and food plots and I'm not above hunting a food
plot or a trail to it.

I also plan to use a little estrous during/around rut - this doesn't usually bring in the biggest
deer, but with a bow I'm just not there yet. Give me a couple years. ;)

Sorry to disappoint you guys but he doesnt score real big.. LOL hes 144 4/8 gross... I thought this summer he would make 150.. but not quite..he's basically a 4x4 with 1 inch g-4's.. hes weak in the browtines too..everything else hes really real decent..

For here guys, Hes a great buck ...for me at 5.5 years old.. He taught me a lot the last couple years..

Hope you guys aren't too bummed ... I'm not.. I could not be happier!!!

Man, no one is disappointed! I'm all pumped up for this weekend.

I still can't believe in looking at the pictures that thing is less than 150". Maybe you are more honest
than other scorers. [8D]
