Hay team The hunt for me this year was tough , so when I got the chance to arrow a mature buck I took it , He is no wall hanger but with the gun hunt opening the next day I was glad to get him .

Thanks guys, it was a great hunt. Glad I was able to contribute this year. I am also still doe hunting till Friday, then buck hunting up in NY on Saturday and Sunday.

Went out this evening for a great hunt! Had some does working the field off to my right and some had moved in front of me. None never came in close enough to get a good shot. Then behind me I heard a bunch of leaves crunching and by the time I seen him he was about twenty feet behind me. Grabed bow, turned on camera and it was all over in about thirty seconds! But the Vortex did its job and the Tekan II's only let the deer go about fifty yards. Double lung and heart shoot! Some of the pics may not be good for the faint of heart! I have to work the weekend so I will try to score him next week. I think maybe 80's or 90's at best.
