No problem bigjim. Seems like we're th only ones around anymore. Hopefully everyone is getting to hunt.
I sat again Fri even and had about 8 does and a little 4 or six point right under my stand. I passed on him even though he was 10 yds broadside. I may have shot him if a didn't have about a two hour drive ahead of me on Fri night, plus it was last light and getting ready to pour the rain. I'm glad I didn't shoot as as soon as i got to my truck the rain pounded. definately would have had to gut and drag him in the downpour.
Big buck would have been worth it, he wouldn't have.
Still, I may not be able to hold back if I get another opportunity as I can kill two bucks anyway.

Yea, it seems kind of quite around here. Hopefully everyone is out in the woods. If you feeling like putting one on the ground hillybilly, I am not against it. Heck, I might even help you clean it
Hope everyone had a good weekend, whether you were hunting or not. I only got to go twice this weekend. Didn't see anything worth shooting. Have a good work week guys

I went out a couple times this weekend, but only had does within range. One good note is that I think I saw a real good buck. He was moving through timber at about 100 yards and by the time I could get my binoculars up, he was already gone. From what I could see however, he was a shooter. The only bad news about it though is that he's in the middle of the timber and is going to be hard to get.
