I'm from southern IL. My name is Dave, I'll be hunting my 30 acres and the neighboring 40 acres behind my house. I just gained access to 80 acres of timber, CRP, and a couple of big ponds. I haven't had a chance to scout the new place out yet, I'm waiting for the thermometer to drop below the triple digits lol.

I've got one trailcam out right now and just bought a second one this evening, hope to get some pics soon to post. Post some pics if you guys have any.

We won't have any problem getting some deer shot for our team. Even though they all aren't pictured, there were 55 deer in this field. I have full permisson to hunt this and surrounding land. I shot two does here last year and missed a nice 140 class 10 point the same day I shot one of my does. I also have another property to hunt about half an hour north of me and another piece of land in Price County up north. In fact the guy that invented the Cuddeback just bought a bunch of land about half a mile from me. He's from Park Falls which is just a couple miles east of my land.

When does everyones season open up? Mine is Sep. 15 and thats still to far away! I have a couple stands set up on one property but my other hunting land just by me so far is empty. I might have to set up a ground blind for now until I can buy another stand. Everybody done their scouting and stand selection yet?

We open up herein Marylandon Sept 15th as well.

Hey guys my name is Jim Cogaraka Ohiobuck25 and I will be hunting Central Ohio starting opening day September 29th. I have permsion to hunt several different farms ranging from 40 to 300 acres. I found some good sheds last year and have some good trail camera pictures from my cuddeback to keep me fired up. Icurrently have 8 stand locations onthe 300 acre farm,but will be hanging several more on different farms just tohave some different options and to give my main spot a rest every now and then. I'll keep you guys posted with my latest trail cam pics.

Holla - Zubba checking in. I'm from Iowa and will be hunting about 250 of private land. I moved from Wisconsin to Iowa about a year ago (partly for hunting), so this will be my first year bowhunting in Iowa. My nine previous years of bowhunting was done in Wisconsin. I pretty much live at huntingnet.com (atleast during the work week) so I'm sure we'll be chatting. What is everyone thinking for a team name? Later

Sofar, judging by the names I've seen so far....my vote for a team name would be Team 39 - Rut Monkeys.

Team name is always tough and 39 is even tougher to try and rhyme with.
I will keep thinking and throwing some names out there but am open to anything.
How about "Performance Shaft" or "Perfect Flight"

I have noticed in the past alot of guys like bad ass names. I for one would prefer a witty name that made people think, but its a democracy so let me know what direction you guys like and we will go that way.
