I usually get 4 doe tags every year on top of my two buck tags. I have alot of people that like meat but do not or can not hunt so I fill tags and gift the meat to them and then also every year I shoot atleast one deer to donate to a feed the hungry program that we have here in nebraska and those are usually does that I use for that meat

Well my internet has been down for the past week and thats been fun trying to fix. I scored on opening day! This doe was a mear 4 yards from my stand, almost a strait down shot. I hit both lungs and heart, she didn't go 40 yards before piling up. Sorry its no buck but hopefully I'll soon get one.

Great job Ir, meat on the table!
It's always nice to get that first one under your belt.
From the looks of the 2nd picture you could not asked for a better shot.

Damn, it feels good be be able to post again. For some reason, I haven't been able to post anything for the last couple weeks. I kept getting error messages....but I've been checking everyday.
lrhuntr - How do you guys do bear hunting last week. Where were you at (what zone). I have will have 7 points going into next years drawing, so I should have a good shot at a tag.

Kurt, My uncles dad got one, nothing big, about 153 dressed. Me and my uncle are leaving tommorow night at 11 to meet with the guide at his house at 4:30 to see if we can get one for him. Should be a fun drive up there at night. I'll let you know how many deer we hit. Oh, and we were in Zone A near Catawba (sp?)
