If I am adding correctly that should vault us into 1st place by around 40" with only 3 bucks down and some "Heavyhitters" still out there hunting for us!!

SorryI havent jumped in here yet its been pretty crazy helping my brother with his buisness getting guys in and such. Been having a really awesome season seeing lots of good bucks. CMON team keep them p/y bucks comin. I am still out and have been passing on many deer that are bigger than the one I shot. I am waiting for a monster now. GOOD LUCK, and Ill keep in close reach.

Any ideas of a "rough" score?

We really aren't that far behind now.......we have a great average score and will be within 1 deer striking distance of the leaders. I know Wolfen and Bigcountry could turn in a booner at any moment themselves.
We have a great team and I think if everyone the rest of the way tags out we have a real shot.

115-120...Hes similar to greg's......he's a little under what i was thinking(130)....He doesnt have the tine length i thought he did...hes got a decent body .....havent put the tape to him.....but saturday is opening of our gun season and even thought im on private ground without many hunters......it gets to crazy to even try with a bow.....ive been down that road...plus during gun seasons i take out other people....I was thinking a decent one is better then nothing....he came from a property i hunt by were i go to college...

Guys, I blew it!! I haven't posted anything lately because I feel like an idiot!
Saturday I finally got out to the farm that I got permission to hunt. I set up my buck decoy about 5:30am and got my place in the tree line,sitting on the ground. About 6:30am I did a little rattling. At 7:00 i have a little 8pt come in and start to circle the decoy I grunted and ran him off, as I had no intention of shooting him. As soon as he was out of sight I rattled again, 10min later I see another buck a HUGE 8pt. he comes straight at me and I can't move. He get to about 15yds from me and turned broadside to my decoy I started to draw and he saw me move.
He stared at me for probably 30sec and then started to run. I came to full draw and he stoped at 40yds broadside looking back to see what I was, I released and watched as my arrow flew just below his chest!!
Guys he was at least a 135"-145" , he had a lot of mass all the way out to the tip of his rack.

Monday I hunted all day saw a lot of deer and about 2:30pm I rattled in a nice 9pt about 120"-125" just a gorgeous rack. He came into the decoys didn't like what he saw and started walking off. He went through a lane at 40yds I release and watch the arrow go just below his chest!!

I hunted all day saturday and monday, I saw a total of 16 bucks and about 40 doe. The deer were running like crazy around this pasture and hayfield.

I spent some time at the range today to figure out my problem, which is I just used the wrong pin. I normally don't hunt where I have a 40yd shot, but I was hunting the edge of this pasture/woods and could see for 250yds. I'll be ready for the next one.
I'll be out Wednesday afternoon and all day thursday so hopefully I can get one for the team. Sorry!
