I'm hoping the weather starts cooling down quickly... My "real" season (Illinois... hard to even motivate me for Missouri.. )starts in just over a week and it's in the 90s today. [:o]

It's looking pretty good for monday upper 60's low 70's. Now if I could decide where I'm going to hunt! Where ever I go it'll be all day.

sorry been awhile, went scouting, moved a stand at last minute for better, will be heading over there the first weekend of oct. I think its around the sixth. I will be hunting some pretty well planned out spots that I have thrown together, hope to tag a big one early, if not, its because I am passing on bucks in hopes of monsters :) I won't let you boys down :P I hope ..... :) I am anxious as ever, my mind is SET on bowhunting, cant even think of reality. Keep on scouting and planning boys, things will come together .

I have a feeling we are just going to put up a serious total before the end of the season.

Man if you guys from the midwest knew what it takes to drop a 150" deer in this neck of the woods. [:-]I feel like one serously blessed proud SOB right now.
I still am trying to grasp that it was the very first time I ever hunted with a recurve too. I can't believe it and I just lived it.:)

Congrats again Matt, your team is currently on top because of your persistance. Can you guys keep the lead? Time will tell. Matt's buck is also the current leader of bucks as well.

Very nice buck Matt. Was that buck taken in PA? If so you guys are doing a heck of a job with QMD cause that is a really nice buck. I couldn't help but notice his right eye what do you suppose happened to him? Sparring with another buck or maybe a stick. No matter what that is a really good buck for Team 29!!!
