Just got done working a Bass Pro Fall Classic event this weekend (rep for Bowtech / Diamond)
Boy it started getting the blood going being around all the products and talking hunting and bows with all the people taking advantage of the sales.
I'll tell ya there are some people not afraid to plunk down $1000 plus on totally new set ups a couple weeks before the season!

I grabbed some GREAT deals myself!
I snagged a Moultrie Gamespy D40 4 megapixel digital camera for $67! They were $99.99 model but since they were sold out of the less expensive 3.0 megapixel camera they were substituting the D40 for the cheaper camera! I am kicking myself for being and cheap and not grabbing 3 or 4 of them.
I have heard very good things about the pic quality and trigger speed.

I got the HS Scent proof green zip up clothes storage bags (those nice ones you see in the HS videos) for $14 and a Primos accessory zip bag for $8.

We're in the home stretch now, just waiting on that IL nonresident archery tag? Hasn't showed up yet?:eek:

went driving around with a buddy tonight and saw a 160" buck run in front of us and into a patch of timber near where he and I hunt every once in awhile. needless to say, my blood is even more red hot after last nights sighting! bah, less than a month feels like FOREVER! brown will be down, count on that. :D

Yea Ill been seeing some great bucks running around come on oct. but in the last week we ve gotten infested in the mosques worst in 20 years

I know dude, I froze up on that one! :DIt was like I short circuited and wasn't thinking straight. If I was I probably would have left there with a dozen of them for 5 different people. LOL
Glad to finally have a decent camera and no panicked at the same time of actually putting it out to get stolen. :eek:

You know I'm off from the first day until the following sunday right? How are you looking for ground blinds etc? what are your plans? I like the sound of having my "very own treestand hung" LOL but I want to make sure we can figure out how to get your gimpy butt out there too.

It opened here last weekend and I couldnt get out cause I had a batchelor party and was gone. But since then Ive been out 2 times this week and have only seen does and fawns so far. Its nice to back in a tree!:D
