Hey team ... here's a picture of the spot I've been pouring this mineral attractant stuff into the ground for the last month.
As you can see , the deer have been hitting it pretty hard and with my ground blind set - up just thirty yards away.

Thats pretty cool RD. We arn't allowed to use anything like that herer. They sell it and how would anyone ever know but I just wouldn't feel right about getting a deer illeagealy. If it was legal I would use it too.

Where the heck is everyone. I keep finding us on the second page.

CO was great.. Mule Deer, pronghorns, sheep and a real nice 6x6 elk. All that and just a family vacation with zero gun and no matter how hard I threw them a rock was just not gonna put them down.. Always thought whenI went to Colorado it would be to kill sumpin. Beautiful country and SO darn big!

Quick question for you all. I know it may be answered somewhere earlier in our thread, but does anyone else's season start on 15 September? I can't believe how fidgety I'm getting. I'm already starting to wash my gear and pack it. The next couple of weeks are going to drive me nuts. I was going to Missouri this weekend to do some last minute looking, but my friend who owns the land couldn't make it. He knows the layout, and he said he knows where the bedding areas are and the paths they take to get to the spring-fed creek that runs through it. That's going to be a big plus since they're stuck in this lousy drought like we are. Don't know about you guys, but I'm becoming a nervous wreck. Maybe it's because it'll be my first bow-kill. (Notice I didn't say bow hunt)
Oh yeah, on a side note, where we're hunting, there's a "4 points on one side" antler restriction, so if I do take a buck, it won't be TOO small.

My season starts October 1st , I cant even put my stands up on public land until September 1st and I can't even wait for that.
As the season gets closer and closer I get more anxious about being in the woods , even if its to just sit there and watch.

You know where it came from. Didn't you post this as one of the "monsters" you have from your trail cam pictures?
