It's back to bow season here in the mountains for another week and then M/L - archery combined. Not sure if I'll head east and keep using a gun or take back up the bow.

Take the BOW!!! Actually, whatever you can kill one with. I can't wait to get back out this weekend, been a good bit since i've been in the tree. May hit some public land actually. We got a dusting of snow which is nice.

I am strictly trad hunting from here until I kill something with the recurve. I'll be hunting hogs HARD! i'll also make a few trips out of town for a doe or two. The compound is going up for sale. Time for an upgrade!

I'm hunting but need some new areas to hunt for late season. Not seeing much around here now.

Still hunting here through this weekend with the muzzle loader, then out with the bow again until the 31st.. Its starting to get really hard to hunt around here. all of the deer are starting to group up around here, there is not a lot of cover in my immediate area so the deer tend to travel 5-10 miles to winter, so pretty much all of mybow stands have gone cold except for one. Plus is doesn't help we had all of the ice and snow last weekend, and then an additional 6-10 inches of snow since then with another 3-5 coming tonight. Getting the itch real bad to start doing some damage to the local fox and coyotes.

Still at it here but the woods are awfully quiet. I moved to a couple new areas that look good so alls I can do is keep my fingers crossed. Weather sucks [:'(], lately weve been getting some nice cold days during the week when I can't get out and then it jumps up on the weekends. It's supposed to hit 80 today.
