Muzz is a muzz IMO. Still only one shot and the chance it won't go off! First "shot" I ever took at a deer with mine was a hang fire "pop.............booom!" About 3 seconds between cap and powder, got a real nice scope black eye!

Im just breaking balls.. We have a "modern" muzzleloader season in the fall for doe only and then a traditional flintlock season in December for buck or doe.

I understand I catch hell from my buddy that owns the land. He is a member of the TMA and has 3 custom built hand forged flintlocks. He breaks mine all the time. But I get him back during bow because he uses a crossbow but he shot my Ross Cardiac and maybe has had a change of heart.

Story is on the main bowhunting page. It sucks though....now Im back to being spoiled. I was that way for awhile with my muzzleloader then I hit a rough patch and now I get this bruiser as my first bow deer. I hope you all have the same luck I have had this season.

My wife got her first buck this weekend. Saturday at about 2:30 she had 3 does a big 6 come by her, and she nailed him. Nice one for her first, can't get the pics to work off my drive though. She is very happy and I'm proud of her, first deer with the bow. I saw a lot of rutting activity, but small bucks, seems the big ones in my area are with does. Gun season is this coming weekend, so I can't bowhunt.

my girlfriend missed a nice 6 pointer yesterday twice.... she is really frustrated.... i sat in her stand tonight to see if he would come back... after awhile i did not feel right sitting in her stand and possibly shooting the buck and she has put a bounty on!!!
