Wow, lost of kids for our team! Congrats FF. As far as Bowtech goes, is there a shop close by that sells them? IF they have bows in stock, you won't have to order one because of the module change. The shop I shoot for has about 18 in stock, but then they also have all the possible module combinations for all the bows. Any Bowtech shop should have all the modules so you can get set up. It sounds like I'm a salesman here, but I am in the same position with a gun. I bought a Benelli about a month ago and I'm still waiting for the transfer to go through because IL is such an asinine state with gun regulations. It is not enough to be an FFL dealer, you have to do a bunch of other stuff as well. Plus, I've been screwing around with this for a month now, but I still have to wait 24 hours when it comes in. Kind of takes the excitement out of buying it a little bit.

Anywho, the Powertec is a fine bow and I'm sure the deer will be just as dead with it, but I can understand your frustrations on not gettting your new one.

Congrats FF sleep while you may. Sorry about the bow. I'd be seriously tempted to jettison that purchase and find one on hand. I thought all bows could beadjusted within at least a few inch range. Shows how long it's been since I looked at compounds. LOL

I called around, the bowshop that I normally go to don't even have any bowtechs in the store, the next ones they will be getting sounds like the new models. I serously thought about telling them to keep the Vectrix and backing out of the deal, but then I would be in the same boat again looking for a new bow and with my schedule the next couple weeks I don't think I would get it done, plus they were giving me a pretty good deal with trading in the PowerTec, So i guess I will just wait and hopefully it will come in sooner than later. I guess this is partially my fault - I should have known waiting this long that I would be in trouble, new bows this time of year around here are pretty hot and don't stay around long.

Hey guys, hope all is well on your ends. I checked out the two new pieces of land I can hunt this year. All I can say is that if I don't get a decent buck, it is entirely my own fault. Both spots are littered with sign and acorns and graet stand trees. The one place is a plateau around some big ravines that are all oak and hickory. The cool thing about this place is that on one side of the property there is an inside turn that I can really tuck away in, and then there is a mirror image of it on the complete other side, so regardless of wind, I can hunt one of the two spots. Jumped a ~130" buck out of the second area that was still in full velvet so that was definitely a good sign! Sleep is going to be at a premium with all these bucks dancing through my head! I can't complain though when I think of Talondale and the youngin'!
