Well this evening, right at last light a familiar 5 point came out followed by a new 6 point. Nice body, about as wide as his ears....not yet.

Hang in there. The big boys are just starting to show themselves. There is a lot of time left. Good luck!

Just got off of the phone w/ a client who let me hunt his land last year. A true honey hole. Well, he can't hunt this year due to his work schedule... So, I am back in there starting tonight!
My drought may be ending soon!

Good luck Ice..
What kind of climber did you get?

The landowner said he has been seeing one really good 8 in his field frequently... Hope to see him tonight.

I bought the Summit Razor SS with the climbing bar and the open front for the hunt. Its pretty nice, I was climbing telephone poles yesterday in my neighborhood to get the hang of it before I hunt today. lol

They work great... I have a Sumitt Goliath and love it.
They take some practice at first, but it ends up being like riding a bike.

Yea it took me forever and a day to get up the tree, I only went 15 feet tonight, I felt a little nervous going higher, ill hang at 15 til I get the hang of it and then may go higher. But that thing is awesome, its like a lazy boy in a tree, incredibly comfortable.

First outing with the climber was great even though I saw no deer today, hopefully next time.

You will get to the point in the climber that height is no issue. I am horrible w/ heights, but have no problems in my climber. I do not usually go much higher than 15-20 though.
Went out last night to the new spot. No deer. Tons of sign. Got 2 squirrels though... 4 on the season!
My buddy Eric got a good 8 for this area last night. Heavy deer. Shot him at 5:15pm... Dressed out at 172lb.
