It may be a couple of days but ill get them up. I shot one tonight and I am going to look for him in the morning. He is a main frame 7x7 my guess is he will score around 175" hopefully hes dead in the morning. Later fellas

Whitetail or mule deer?

Remember that the buck, the bow and you all need to be in the picture for official inclusion.

Nahh... I'm too stringy and tough for a bear to bother with. I've managed to come up empty on every hunt I've been on in '07. Spring bears in POW Island didn't come out due to a late spring. Moose on the AK Peninsula have been run out of the area we were in due to predators (wolves and brown bears). Had a nice mature blacktail buck come in too close and bust me drawing on him on the last day of the season and haven't gotten out for goats yet becasue of the weather; hopefully it's gonna break on Friday. It's been a fruitless year so far but that's the life of a trophy hunter.I've had plenty of good times in any case and that's what it's all about. (At least that's whatI keep telling myself.)How's hunting for you?

well fellas, I shot a nice 10 pointer....but it was with my muzzle loader, so he isnt going to count for our team. I plan on hunting the rest of the season with bow, so hopefully another buck will come by in range!

Rob,it's been a rough year here in Ohio.My area has been hit real hard by EHD.Lots of dead deer being found.I spent hundreds of hours in the stand and only seen one shooter. So I must have killed the last one.LOL.I saw lots of deer 100 inches or less.1 120 inch and I shot a 145 7/8 11 point. Also 5 does so far.I've got one more tag to fill before the orange army attacks on Monday.
That AK weather was messing you up last year also. All of those animals and the storms keep'em safe .Hopefully it will give you a break soon.Good luck to ya.

Congrats on a successful hunt in any case!

I got out for goats yesterday and got in on a small band with a good billy but they moved up out of the cliffs before I could get within bow range. 15 more minutes or 60 yards and I'd have had 'em... Had it all set up to come in on them from a better direction today but the weather boxed me out of the mountains with high winds (15-30 w/ gusts to 50 kts.)and rain again. I leave for a week in NY and Seattle on Tuesday so I'm going to miss next weekend. The weather's guaranteed to be nice then.
