Childers, I will be hunting 4 counties in SC( Lee, Clarandon, Kershaw, and Fairfield). 2 of the seasons have already begun. I can bait in 3 of the 4, gotta love the corn. I just rearranged the stand I was busted on, on opening day. I am not sure why I did not pick this tree earlier, but now I feel pretty good about it. I also am trying the Buck Jam on this location. Hope it works like every one says.

SC, very sorry to hear about your friend. You're right- live life to the fullest because you never know.
Sorry, haven't been on here for a few days. Got a new computer and just got it hooked up and on the internet. I'll probably be using Spitfire 100gr broadheads but I'm interested in trying some Slick Tricks or Rage heads. I'll be taking 2 weeks vacation this fall to do some hunting. 1 week to go to Wyoming to antelope hunt and 1 week to hunt the rut here in Ohio. Very excited about heading out west! The experience will be everything and maybe getting an antelope or 2 will be an added bonus.

I'm hutning here in MO. Mostly the central part of the state and maybe a trip or two up to northern MO where the deer are a little bigger.

We drew tags in area 42 which by looking at some maps appear to be around Laramie (southeast). Not sure exactly where. My friend's cousin went out there last year and told us about two openings for this year.Applied and got drawn. This will be a totally different experience. Only ever hunted in Ohio and Tennessee. We will be going in October. What's the weather like then? Any advice? Thanks.
