i saw a fawn and doe last night. but there are atleast 2 huge double rack bucks so far and other smaller bucks so i know i will do fine

like it a ton more. In texas, everything is based around feeders. In WV, its more terrain dependant. I also like being able to use treestands again ;)

Josh,

Do you hunt one of the bow only counties? I usually gun hunt in Upshur county the first couple days of buck season. To be honest the hunting stinks, if it wasn't getting to spend time with family i might not go back. Usually see nothing but a few small bucks and a couple does, but it sounds like WWIII right after sunrise. Is the pressure in your area any lighter?

I hunt in berkeley county. I have 16 acres right behind my house thats connected to the Potomac River. My house is the very last one in a development, so I'm the only one that hunts the area.

Also hunt 600 acres of private land surrounding Sleepy Creek WMA. I have seen some MONSTER bucks on this place, and I've only had to run one person out of the property in the years I hunted it before I moved to Texas.

So, what does everyone think? Do we have a winner? I hope everyone is having a good week. I can not wait for the temps to drop. They say its going to be in the mid 80's thank goodness.

Right click on my avatar and save it to your computer. Then go to the top of the page and go to My Profile. Then scroll down to My Avatar and click on upload pic. Then upload the pic you saved. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click APPLY. Then click OK. It should come up. If you have any problems let me know.
