That is the minimum score for a PY WTD. That is what the contest is based off of so it is the norm (no multiplier). To allow other type of animals they compare the minimum scores to that of the whitetail and you get the multiplier. Correct me if I am wrong.

You must enter the first bow kill antlered deer you get.....second buck for you lucky states will not count. First buck means first taken regardless of multi state hunts.
What is the reasoning here ?
I will be hunting 4 different states.
I would think it is a contest for a big buck, If he was buck #1 0r #4 we are still looking for the biggest one.
Seems to be a little tough on guys that hunt Mule and whitetails.
I am not trying to start any trouble - just asking.

This rule is in place as many/most are not fortunate enough to hunt states that allow multiple tags for antlered deer. It's not fair to a team consisting of one tag states to compete against teams that have states that allow multiple tags. Multitag state hunters can shoot a little buck and then hang out for a large buck, that's not a fair comparison to others who have to tag the first and only buck who hangs for a bigger one. This is strictly enforced so if you shoot one, you should enter it or your next one will be disqualified.
