It has been like that here as well. It was 45 this morning but the high is 80° today and tomorrow is 90°.

The temps here are similar, lows in the low50's highs in the 80's. The temperature never really bothers me one way or the other though except come November. When the rut begins I want frosts and highs in the 40's. That way they don't get hot and move all day!!!

Beagle, I wouldn't be upset by not seeing anything. It is a new area first off, and secondly the deer don't move much this time of year. Basically just mill around for feed. I think your move sounds like it could be a good one. If nothing else, the increased viewing area makes it more fun since you are more likely to see something. Best of luck bud. I know that you can get it done.

i agree, there is a lot of time left. I dont know if I'll even actually hunt thursday or friday morning, unless I do go to that other area. I may just go scout it out as long as theres no1 else out there. maybe I can find a hotspot.

I should get out on my land back home this weekend at least for Saturday night. With that heavy frost we got last weekend a lot of people will be chopping there corn which will definetly get the deer moving.
