Well, sorry guys and gals. I wasn't able to close the deal on a buck this year with the rifle. I had an opportunity lastTuesday morningbut decided to wait for a better shot. I had a nice buck at about 50 yards in some brush in low light conditions. I thought he'd move out into the open and give me a better shot.He went straight away from me and stayed in the thick stuff untillI lost site of him. If he would have wen't any direction but the way he ended up going, I'd have killed him. But they don't get big by doing the predictable thing.:( Oh well, maybe I'll get him with the bow. It would be 102 2/8. The contest is using the gross score and not the net score. Congrats!

Sorry fellas, no dice this year in NY, saw prolly 10 different bucks, but landowner has a "past the ears" regulation in place, which is good, I saw 2 shooter bucks, one during bow season and one during late season bow/mz...no shot! I didnt even get a doe this year:(
