Killed a doe this evening, no bucks yet. I'm going again on Sunday, I'll check in if I have any luck.

I scored on an 8 point last Tuesday, Nothing great big and I would have probably let him walk but I was hunting with a handgun and wanted to tag one really bad cause it would be my first with a revolver, I will try to get him scored in the next few days, I won't have any real good pictures of him but I will try to post one up, its just been pretty hecktic around here lately and I have'nt had much time.

I just looked at the scorecard. Two bucks on the board for team 8, way to go Strut that's a real nice buck. I would score him again though because I would guess him at around 100" even. Either way, very good buck.

Nice job team 8!!! I killed a doe on Sat. and today I hit a 10 pointer that would have helped us out a lot. It made it around in a cut over for about 15 minutes and a guy 300 yards away killed it. The season is young and things are looking good. Congrats to our two who have scored. Good luck to everyone else.

Yeah jhalfhill, I have checked my figures over and over, I don't think some of the other guys are taking all the measurments that B-C allows, Help me out and see what you get, He had 4 points on each side, with a 7 6/8 tip to tip spread and a 13 4/8 greastest spread, a 12 1/8 inside spread, right main beam was 15 4/8, left main beam was 15 1/8 and the antler lengths on the right side was 1 3/8, 5 1/8 and 4 4/8, the left side was 1 1/8, 6 2/8, and 53/8. the circumference measurements was right side 3 5/8, 3 even, 2 6/8, and 2 3/8, the left side was 3 4/8, 3 even, 2 7/8, and 2 4/8, did I take some measurments that I should have taken or is my calculations off? Thanks for any help, I don't want to cheat anyone including myself.

you mentioned BOTH inside and outside spreads. did you add both in?? when scoring, the only spread measurement that counts is the inside spread. the scorecard has you measure the tip to tip and greatest spreads for reference, but only the inside spread is added to the total.

I'm done, shot a 4x4 opening day. He's not a bad deer but i've been seeing way bigger deer around, i don't know what i was thinking when I shot. He's a nice animal, but i still have lots of time and have seen bigger around so I wish I would of held off ( we only get one tag here). Here he is, wish I left him to grow another year. He was a long ways away when I shot, and I thought he was a 5x5. Any way here he is, he scores 127 7/8
