i assume the mulie and other specie question would be that you have to multiply by something to get the whitetail score or atleast thats how it is in the bowhunting contest


also, the deer has to be tagged? that means you have to field dress the deer, drag it out then take it to a check in station and then pose for a picture after the deer has already gone stiff? this is the only rule i object to.


the 1st or 2nd makes since due to the bowhunting contest is open throughout gun season too

Cougars09, I think some descretionshould be used. I do a fair bit of hunting alone, if I am close to home I can get a picture when I am home but if I am up north at my cabin(like last year) then I'll do what I can. My digital does not have a timer, so if I am by myself with no means of getting in the photo then it will have to do. I would hope people realize this and the contest is only for fun anyway. I thought last year got pretty pissy and would hope this go around things are kept in context (FUN being the bottom line and sharing with others).

Tagged as in your permit attached if required BEFORE checking in if required in your state. Take the picture with you, your firearm, and deer. It doesn't have to be taken after being checked in!!!!!!

I believe mulies, coues, etc. should count as long as the multiplier is used. Will post that formula in the rules.

what about youth hunt kills with youths shootin a deer with a rifle which is before bow season and gun season????

my only concern is that by allowing a 2nd deer to be checked in, you will be having people waiting until the very last moment to post their kills.

Every team needs to elect a team captain. Everyone needs a little time to get checked in and if someone doesn't after a reasonable amount of time, we will use an alternate to take their place.
