All our bucks are bald now so it really wouldn't matter here. They dropped in mid December but we still get to hunt until the end of January.

Not that it's any of my business, but I think Team 17 was shorted some points. (like they need anymore anyway!) But if you look at their first entry by Berwindaleboy, the buck's gross score is 81 1/8 and the net was 69 7/8. I thought the gross score was the one that counts but on the official score card they posted his net score.

They areshort about 11 3/4 inches from their totalscore.

Just thought I pass that on.

I think it's fair to say that Team XX is running the white flag up the pole - Team 17 officially opened up a can or whoopbutt, and shattered our dreams of a repeat championship. We hung in there and battled it out to the end, but just couldn't make it happen.

My hat goes off to the victors - you guys were in the driver's seat the whole time, and never let off the gas. You deserved the win.

My hat also goes off to my Team XX teammates - you guys made for a lot of fun days at work, lots of great discussion and lifelong friendships. I sincerely hope that our team will not be dissolved for 2007, but if it is, I was honored to be a member of such a special group of extraordinary gentlemen.

My congrats goes out to TEAM 17 as well. You guys pounded them this year. Great work fellas.

As for the XX team, as Quick said, its been great fellas. I have been able to hunt with several of you and will hunt with a few more of my fellow XX teammates in the future. I may retire from the contest next year and just watch from the outside. :D NOT!

I am looking forward to whateverisdecided, but I must admit I'd like to see past champs have the option to re-unite now that we have so many teams involved...

I'd like to thank my fans, the academy.....:D:D:Djust kidding. I will say that this contest was alot of fun. I spent alot of time after hunting checking out everyones hunts. I mean I really looked forward to it. Anyway, I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

I know that I have really enjoyed the contest this year.....LOL. I do not have internet at the hose currently and have very little time here at work to logon, but I have made it a point to get online every single work day just to check on this contest. I can not wait until next year. I dropped the hammer a little quick this year... I must remember more patience for next year....LOL.
