Good luck Woody!
I saw a very nice buck this morning[8D]while hunting Fshafly2's property, the closest he came was 44 yards (well outside of my comfort zone)
I did draw on him with the hopes of him comming in closer but when he turned away from me into the woods I decided I would get some pics and videos of him.
I accidently touched off my release at 3/4 drawwhen I was letting off. [:@]
The arrow did spook him a little but never touched him.
I did arrow a doe first thing this morning.
I should be getting back out this Saturday.
Good luck all

That's the one.
I am just as happy to have harvested the doe.
The first one always seems to be the hardest.
Thanks again for the opportunity Fsh!

Hi Guys! I shot a small 7 pt today. Is there a minimum size to enter it? I've never scored a deer before, being somewhat handi-capped, I don't usually get a shot at bucks to begin w/. Can someone direct me to the scoring instructions? Thanks.

Actually, I was going to cut firewood vs. hunting, as I was waiting for gun season to end this weekend. Threw the xbow on the 4 wheeler as an after thought. Never see deer on my property and have been checking fresh snow falls since I got here in 2002. Saw where they went in and got around to a stand I never use but haven't moved yet and the three came through about 10 minutes later. Two small does and this guy. I used an Excal Phoenix, 431 gr GT LII w/ 100 gr Slick Trick at 30 yds. He went another 25 maybe, turned and faced me and then dropped where he stood. 1st deer w/ Slicks, awesome "twin fountains".
