Congrats on the doe, Bob.

No bucks this weekend, for me either. Saw a ton of does and only young bucks. The mature bucks are still hiding out. Shouldn't take too long though until they're up moving around.

I harvested a big doe on Saturday morning. My wife video-taped the shot at 15 yards. So at least the freezer is starting to fill up.

Good luck you to all.

Well;
Its been nothing to see for me but young bucks and does and a barrell full of coon's..... And the fellow whom decided to try and climb into my stand in the morning dark while I was in it.... a good flashlight in his face just as he gets to the bottom of my tree scared the Milk Dud's outta him....;)
SoI am off to Brown County Illinois near Mount Sterling Tommorrow for 4 days of Bowhunting...hope the Big Boys start to move a little more during shooting light.
Congrats on the Doe Bob:D

Lady: Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Glad to hear you busted him though. I don't understand why people do that. I doubt he'll be there again though ;)

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats on the HUGE BUCK Joey... Cant wait to see the pics ...come on Joey bring on the Pic's.:D
I unfortunatly had a shot at a decent 145-147 class buck on my 1st morning in Brown County but my only shot was through the canopy of a sapling and my arrow was deflected by a branch... I had 7 bucks come in on my 1st morning... the largest buck never offered a shot... I also got 2 shots off at coyotes that were running deer in a thicket... both those arrows were deflected but the shots at coyotes were worth it!!
I passed on a few small does and had 2 button bucks followed by a very large doe walked underneath me with only presenting a spine shot and she walked straight away never offering a vital shot... and I am not willing to gamble with a rear shot or a wounding shot. I did shoot a doe on the second morning... I had a nice very wide 8 pointer come out on the field edge I hunted one evening but he came out 150 yards away.

Thanks! I'm trying to get some clarification on the score. The buck hasa deep forked (Conjoined) G-2 on the right side. Once I get the score clarified and accurate, I can get it posted. Good luck to the rest of you!

Congrats on the big buck Joey. Couldn't have happened to a better guy - you put in the time and you deserve it man. I can't wait to see the pictures and/or the video. Man I bet you were PUMPED! Was it another Kansas buck, or were you guys hunting out-of-state?
