RE: 18- Team Official Thread
Thanks Bow. I have to get some work finished this weekend. Maybe next weekend I'll get to mount an impala, that I've been putting off. I have to finish a coon and a red fox first. Season starts next Sat for me.

I would accept being team captain if everyone ok's it, but it doesn't matter to me who the captain is. I really believe we have a very good team, and I love the pics you guys have posted. James, those are awesome! I believe we have a couple of members absent due to antelope hunts, but they should return soon.
As for me, I have been negligent on my hunting regimen this year. I am going to take advantage of the cooler weather and extended days off from work to hang some stands this weekend and maybe do a little dove hunting since today is dove opener.

Made it back, finally. I will post pictures when I have a chance to get them off the camera. Cougar Mag for captain is fine by me. It looks like several of you have some good prospects.
A little about my self. My name is Jeff. I am 28. Have been bowhunting for 10 years now. I live and hunt in Central Texas.
Season opens Sept. 30 here and I can't wait. This is the most prepared I have ever been and the season doesn't stsrt for a month.
Looking forward to get to know you all better.
Jeff

I am several hundred miles north of javelina country. Wild hogs are also pretty rare but we have killed a couple on the land we hunt around here. There are a couple of pieces of public land about a hour and a half away that is bow only that we do most of our hog hunting on. Do you have anything besides deer in NC? Bear?

Let's see..... Some of the biggest bear in North America are killed in eastern NC (500 - 700 lbs), eastern turkey, coyotes, bobcat, fox, ducks, geese, dove, some wild hogs, and the assorted small game. This year I am going to start trapping for otter, beaver and a few others.
