RE: 9- Team Official Thread
sharpshooter welcome the names in bold are just the people that checked in.
As for the Bobcat story Not much to tell, It was the end of October and I was bow hunting one of my better stand locations. The stand is located about 30 yds off a field in the back corner (good staging area). I have shot and passed on several deer from this location Including my largest 8pt 2 years earlier. I had just settled in for the afternoon wait. I could here something coming down the hill to my left so I stood and prepared my self for a shot. That is when I noticed it was a bobcat slowly working his way down the hill in the dry leaves. I quickly ranged the trail he was on (27yds). Once he came into range and passed behind a large oak I came to full draw. Not knowing how to stop the cat without spooking him, I decided to "try" to meow like a cat. He locked up all breaks giving me a perfect shot. Bracketing him with my 20yd an 30yd pins took a deep breath and pulled through the shot. In a flash the arrow hit his mark and the cat took off out of sight. Giving him 30 mins I just had to get down, and 35yds later tucked up under some blow down brush was my bobcat. A tom cat weighing in at 35lbs.

Hey team 9, I got added to this team from the alternate sign up list. I'll tell you a little about myself. Well, my name is kyle and I'm 18 and I have been bowhunting for5 years here in Wisconsin. We are on some really good land connected to a huge marsh on 3 sides and a huge 400+ acre cornfield on the other. Tons of bucks around us at all times and when rut hits I won't be coming out of the woods. I hope we can beat all the other teams out there and show them wwhat were made of. Lets git er done
