Was out the rest of the weekend after taking the buck, and had another close encounter (50 yards) with an absolute GIANT on Saturday afternoon. He was a 10-pointer, 20-22" wide, easily in the 150" class, just couldn't get him closer. Still awesome to see though. Otherwise, nothing more killed, but lots of bucks running around.

That is so cool Mike. Good luck finding him. I heard from a neighbor that we have a 14 pointer running around. If that DAMN cuddeback would have been working I might have some pictures of him. Congrats again on your buck. I think I will be going back to Slick Tricks next year. The wac'em's have worked but I really didn't like the damage compared to the ST's. I just wish they had been available to me when I started tuning for this year. I like to have everything set for the season about 2 weeks before it starts. Just kind of anal about all of that.

I know what you mean about things set up. I had last year's 1" slicks, which I used to shoot the doe this year, but the 1 1/4" do some serious damage, and fly the same! I am going to order another 3 this winter to have them for next year. I just like having 4 blades too, over the Wac'Ems 3 blades.

YEAH! Congrats Rick. So what about the "he isn't huge". Man you got a nice buck there. And you even did it with a Mathews. Just having fun. Is that you shot placement by the sight? If so then I think all 3 of us so far have made some great shots. Get that guy scored and get him on the score thread. This is the best a team I have been on has ever done and this is my 3rd year.

Hey Rick thanks for getting him scored quickly and on the thread. We are doing pretty good. Right now we sit in 13th place out of 41. That is in the top third. I really like the way you look so excited in the picture. That is cool. WAY to many people look like they just kissed their sister in the picture.

I agree WI, not sure why so many people looked pissed off in their pictures. A good friend of mine was out fishing with me and I was trying to put him on a decent muskie, and we nailed a 47" and I was snapping pictures and he had this pissed off face on, and I was like, if you don't smile with that fish, then there is something wrong with you! I can't help but smile with my deer!
