Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'm going to get in there early and try to push the issue a little bit.

Welcome to the team flhuntress, glad to have you aboard.

What are we going to do for our team name? Are we going to be Team Duece?

I think everyone has agreed on "The Deuce" as team name - guess we'll leave it to our captain to do what ever is done to finalize the logo and the name.

I like everything I've seen thus far.

20 more days for whitetail archery season here in Indiana...

Alright Team Duece it is. I still think the logo needs a little work. The letters at the bottom need to curve a little smoother and be more even. I have tried to fix it but am having no luck. If anyone can work on it give it a try, I will see if I can find someone to work on it as well.

I'm down to 3 days guys, hopefully I will have our first big boy on the board by weeks end.

tragedy in the hunting community!!!!

On my way to work yesterday I noticed a dead deer on the side of the road. No big deal in the state of nebraska, but as I approached closer to the carcas on the side of the road I noticed every deer hunters dream ANTLERS.I stopped to pickup turned around for a better look, and there it was a shootable 5X5 tragically taken by a car accident. This buck was no older than 2 or 3yrs so you could just imagine what another year or two would have produced. Well to make a long story short I didn't have a saw in the truck either so I couldn't even crop the antlers!!!

Bow season starts Friday going to western NE to see if I can not shoot my first Mule deer!

I work NSWC Crane here in Indiana - never hauled a dead deer in a govt truck, but I have retrieved a stand while out and about - they wouldn't have been happy about that either - I'd just tell them to take it out of all the free over time I do.

Too bad - would have made some nice rattling horns.
