Well guys got a chance to just check the woods back here near home for hunting. Well wow was i supprised. I found a beding area about 60 yards from my stand and then rubs all the way round the u shaped woods, all directional.

Not only that but I found a nice big scrap!!! It was on the hay field strip surrounded by beans and woods. It was about 4 ft across!!

Cant hunt till friday but will see how it goes!!!

Guys I went out last night and saw probably 60 deer. I saw a buck that i would really like to take but I don't know how good he'll score. I had him under my stand but I'm in a cedar tree and he walked on by without a shot opportunity. Here in northeast Nebraska the weather is perfect about fifty degrees. So next weekend I might connect with a good one. Here is a trail cam picture of the buck i saw.

I figured it would score about 85-90 but that bigger than any buck I've ever shot with a bow so the next chance I get at em. I gonna launch an arrow through his boilerroom. happy hunting

Dang, Hazcon! That sucks!

I put some meat in the freezer tonight by smoking a doe at 17 yards.... Got the first-deer jitters outta the way!

well guys my opener is in the morning but i dont even have stands up, well i didnt get permission to hunt this one piece of land until the other day and its been raining the past couple of days. Tommorow, im not going in until just after daylight, im gonna hunt on the ground right behind my house. Its sort of an escape route because there are going to be uhnters on each of the adjoing properties and this place is thick. Im hoping to see this doe and fawn that i see almost daily. I will update you guys later, i also may hang my stand tomm. around noonish. Hope you guys are having some good luck and its about time we get on the board
