Well still kinda hung over from a kick ars 21 bday weekend, which i got a new digital scouting cam!!!

So i decided to stumble my way out there and well just setin out the camera and down the creekbed comes 4 deer hullin butt. The farmer to the north was working and must have spooked them. Well they come runnin down towards me and not wantin to be seen i ducked below the berm of the creek bed. They come within 20 yards of me and had no clue i was there.

Well i got my cam set and decided to take the quickest route out as to not spook anything and found a beding area that is just torn up and it only 70 yards south of my stand. There i a thicket that i thought just continued to the feild but it opens in the middle. I did not go to close but from where i was i counted 8-9 old rubs and there were tracks and crap all around. I guess i need to come in to the stand from the north from now on.

Well ill keep yall updated!

How is everyone else lookin? My season starts on Sept. 16th!

I hung a stand today and saw a nice 4x4 when I was comming out of the trees. It was moving in the middle of the day. I have never seen this many nice bucks on my land so I am really pumped for the Sept 15 opener.

hahaha, i agree hazcon, i havent had a chance to set my cameras up here yet, the does drop really late here in Al, so i try and leave evertything grown up so they have a good survival rate, last year showed some promise so hopefuly this year does well too. and its so hot here and with noe rain it will be another month before i plant anything. but ill keep ya'll posted. What good public land do you all know of that is just over the Tn and Ms borders, i live in N.W Alabama...
