I wouldn't get excited just yet about not being on the board,give it till mid November,then if nothing then we can start to worry
. The snow is falling lightly and I'll start making my trek back into the hardwoods come Monday.
Saturday my hunting friend arrives from Michigan and we'll be hunting for 2weeks sunup to sundown,hopefully we'll both connect on 170ish or better.[8D]
Also their is 15 teams still with no points out of 42 and that has to do with the rut already kicking in in the southern states. Plus their are a lot of hunters who have taken holidays already and have allowed for their time in the woods to be done with already. I have faith in our team, we'll get some up on the boards soon enough. Good luck on stand Sunday my friend.

I blew it yesterday!
In the morning I had a nice, really nice, buck coming towards my stand.
He got one look at my decoy and snorted and ran off the other way?
Why did I have to see the only gay buck in the woods?
Closest he got was 74 yards.
Had a spike come thru about 45 minutes later but let him walk.
Yesterday afternoon at 5 pm I had a tall 6 point come in. showed some interest in my decoy but the closest he would come in was 43 yards. I missed him. Went right over his back by about 2 inches, ARRRRRRRG!
To top if all off I can't find the arrow, it went into the woods. Brand new arrow with a brand new Tekan II on it. I'll look for it next Sunday when it is daylight out and hope to find it. Otherwise it's about 30.00 down the drain. Oh, well, the price you pay.
My hunting partner also saw a bruiser in the afternoon but it never offered a shot.
Hope the rest of you did better.
