Hey y'all didn't get a shot, they came thru very thick brush at 35 yds. Didn't see any heads but no spots either and one was very big bodied deer! Another thing i have learned is i am to old and fat fer the brand new lok-on and climbing stick i put up. So i am putting it up fer sale today. I'll get another ladder stand or one of those ground blinds.

Murphy came to visit me this morning. [:-]I got in my climber while it was dark thirty. I went up tree until the boot strap broke on bottom part of my stand. []Gee even Davy Jones heard it, i pulled it up to me with the safety rope. Then i got it to bite into tree and saw i was 4' short of my heigth mark on tree! [:-]I am all settled in and have put arrow on Bow, i put quiver in its place and it free fell down thru the limbs and saplings and onto the leaves. [&o]Sounded like a durn tree fell! [:-]No deers came any where around me! [&o][:@]Yup i had a great morning!

Smokepole sometimes stuff happens, I would have loved to been filming the thing we could have won funnest videos. Well at least we can laugh about it now and the only things that fell were equipment and not you hitting every branch on the way down. You will get them next trip. Guys I will be gone for a while, I have to leave for Oklahoma in the morning, My Dad has to have surgery Tuesday or sooner, they found out yesterday he must have a by-pass on the major artiery in his leg or he will lose his foot/leg. So please my hunting brothers pray for my family & for the safty of my trip. I will fill ya'll in when I get back home. bigdaddy GO MUD,BLOOD&TEARS.

bigdaddy7474 i will and have prayed fer u and your father. I prayed all will be well in his healing and the stress be taken from you. Let our Lord send angels to be with y'all during this time of trials so they watch over and protect y'all. I spect won't be no deers come around that area fer the next week. They figure be some wild animal over there making all that uncalled fer noise!
