Hey everyone. Sorry its been a while since I chimed in. Computer's been stupid, work's been stupid, and I've been spending as much of my free time as possible scouting.
We're going way out into the boonies camping today for opeining weekend. I'm real excited. There's lots of muley activity not 100 yards from the camp ground. I'm counting on at least filling my doe tag tomarrow, and am keeping my fingers crossed that a shootable buck shows up.
It sounds like there's alot of personal stuff going on in some of your lives. This hunting season should be a great chance to relax and reflect... a great get-away from our worries. Successful or otherwise (for me anyway) deer hunting is great therapy.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was fantastic! I filled my "antlerless" tag on opening day. I would post a picture, but it saysthe file is too large when I try to put it on here. Anyway, this little doe secures meat for my freezer, so now I have the rest of the season to wait on the right buck. It's so great to be back into the hunt!
