I just got back from Wisconsin. My fiance's brother-in-law said I should head up there to deer hunt one fall. He lives in the De Forest (Madison Area). Is there alot of good hunting around there?

We have good Turkey hunting, This year was not my year for turkey, I did see about 30 jakes & a ton of hens. I was waiting on the big boys I had seen during deer season I had them close but you know not enough to get a good clean shot. I think the4 or 5 of us who hunt turkey they killed 14 birds. We have almost 3000 acres and no presure on them. I would be glad to take ya'll Turkey hunting/Hog we also have lots of them. 2 yrs ago I killed a nice big Tom 10&1/2 inch beard, the spurs were only a bit over 1 inch he was old.Tedrow I would love to hunt up north I never have.I just bought a new Dodge 1500 quad cab SLT but it has the 4.7 ltr V-8 not the hemi last friday, that is my 4th Dodge. I also have a 85 K-5 Blazer with a 6 inch lift and 35's under it we love to go mudding and creek riding.

Well i don't have a 4wd, boo hoo. Just 2 worn out feet and legs, someday. I have a gas loving suburban, you don't get gas mileage you just count gas stations! Such is life! I am going down to woods this morning and hang one of my lock-on stands. Glad i just have to walk 150 yds.

I ran head on with an 8 pt. yesterday while hanging my climber, he was still in velvet. He looked a lot like his daddy!

I am using Bruin Lites by Bear 3 blade B'Heads. I have had dz. paks since 87 when i stocked up on 15 paks of them fer $3 a pak. 95gr. I have used up all my extra blades. So now each time i shoot a deer my suppy dwindles!
