all that wanted to walk out this weekend was like 6 does, 1 spike, and 2 4pointers. one of the 4pts was taunting me bexause it knew i wouldnt shoot it, stood up and was knockin at my feeder to get corn haha. that mutha..... maybe next weekend

Well I wacked another buck with my bow tonight I might have hit it a little far back so I will try to find him tomorow after a morning stand. found 3/4 of my arrow and blood was every where. I just hope the blood trail stays like it is. Gonna be hard to sleep tonight. I am so looking forward to Opening day whith gun in Ct. Wed. I took some nice deer there. My son likes it there so much he is comming up from Ga. just to hunt there. Well wish me luck tommorow and keep your fingers crossed for me. Mike

I got him a little 4 point. Dig this I hit him in his left rear leg and it came out of his right lung. He went about 150 yards before expireing. I just found him today but I checked him no bloating and the meat is still good so score one lucky one for me. OK guys this is it from me in a while I'm leaving for Ct. in the morning gun season starts there on Wed. ( crazy day to open huh) Wish me luck. It sure would be nice to get one like last year. But if we got them like that all the time it would lose a lot of value. See you all when I get back . Mike

well i'm getting ready to leave for ky friday. i'll be up there for this weekend. i may be going back up after i get done with thanksgiving festivities. i know there are some monsters up there and i should have a pretty good setup. i can't wait. the rut should be in the chase phase. my cousin got a 7 point this past saturday which was the opening of gun season. he was chasing a doe when he shot him. the good thing is noone hunts where i'll be hunting as far as i know. it should be fun regardless. wish me luck guys!!!

Well back from Ct. but no antlers I did score 3 times in the first 2 days it was a great hunt. After I taged out I sat with my oldest grandson and watched him pull up on a deer follow it with the gun and not pull the trigger. I guess you can get doe fever too. plus he missed 2 and didn't shoot at two others for one reason or another. His dad missed two and my other friend didn't see any. No big bucks this year down there well Mass opens shotgun season a week from tomorow for 2 weeks then black powder for 3 so I still have a chance for a big buck. I have one buck tag left and I will only use it on somthing nice. ( I hope I can hold back) I still have 3 doe tags left. good luck and shoot straight Mike

WELL GUYS ARE SHOTGUN SEASON OPENS TOMMROW CHECK OUT ANOTHER AREA FRESH SIGN IN THE SNOW ONE SET OF BIG TRCKS DRAGING ITS DEW CLAWS,ALSO ILL BE HUNTING A SPECAIL HUNT IN QUABBIN RESIVOR, ITS A 2 DAY HUNT WENT SCOUTING THERE YESTERDAY SEEN 2 FRESH SCRAPS ,THEY USE TO HAVE 50DEER PER SQ.MILE BUT NOW ITS DOWN TO 7-15 DEER, BUT YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GET A NICE BUCK OUT OF THERE, IAM GOING ON THE 8-9, GOOD LUCK GUYS

Go get em Jammie I will be out in the morning with my shotgun too. No more does for me I have 8 deer on the year already only 2 with horns and both of them were with the bow. I will try to change that tommorow. Real thick where I will be hunting so the order of the day is 00 Buck. Good Luck lets get some on the board Mike
