LOL bad luck for you too.I got my release loop today and got it put on.I had to get a new bolt for my release.The rod going out from the strap came off yesterday also.I seem to have all I wanted put on my bow just to have everything else go wrong.But now all is fixed and I am ready to practice tomorrow again.I am debating on setting up a 70 yard pin.But I am going to go through all the distances from 20 up to 60 to make sure I am on still then decide on what I want to do.I cant believe that switching from 125 to 100 G broadheads would make my arrow flite that much flatter.I am using the same pin from 10 to 40 yards.That will make judging distnce very easy for me in the woods.I amhitting the kill zone on my deer target evey time at 60 yards but I do not have any shooting lanes over 40.But I do not have a problem only shooting 40 for now.I need to start working on shooting from my deck down my hill to make sure it will be on while in the stand.
Well heading off to bed got work in the morning so I will see how you are all doing tomorrow night.

Stevoja we hadnt heard from you so when I talked to Rob it was suggested that I replace you so we had someone replace you.I am sorry that we had to do this.
As for the rest of our team I would like to hear from them.Some of them havent came back since there original check in.Just drop a post saying hi guys if you havent done so in awhile.

Well bow is back to working order.Shot some today with my broadheads for the first time.I am only consistant in the kill zone with the broadheads up to 50 yards.So no 60 yard shots for me.I was a little to shaky today at 60 yards.I dont know if it is due to my back pain problems today or not.Will find out some later this week.I would like to have the option to hunt a particular stand if I see the bucks coming out by it.Problem is they come out at about 60-65 yards away from my stand.But I wont be hunting that stand until late in the year after the rut.So i have plenty of time.I believe the buck I want that is coming out there I will have a chance for him in another stand of mine.

Well I have Friday through Monday off and I will be spending most of my mornings and evenings sitting in a tree seeing if I can my first kill with my new Hoyt. Looking to stock the freezer witha doe, but maybe that big boy will walk by. I know they are still using the bean fields so maybe if I get back off the field a ways he will come by before dark.

Good luck Mn I am rooting for you.Next weekend is my opener and you bet I will be in the field all freaking weekend long.I have not decided on which stand I will hunt though.I am leaning towards the one right by my house but I know there are some monsters at my other hunting place all 3 of them.but I still dont know which one will get my attention yet.I do know which one I will be hunting opening morning.I will be in between the apples and the pasture.teh does got to go by me to get to there beds.I know there is a couple great looking bucks using that pasture as well.So hopefully I will see them.I dont know what I would do if I got a P&Y buck opening morning.Wife would make me stop hunting for a few weeks LOL>

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know I am still here, I have the day off so I will be heading to the woods to do some sitting, I wlii be pulling my stealth cam out today also, so hopefuly I will have some good buck picsto show you all. I've been shootting every night after work, groups are tight out to 45 yrds, I was playing a shootting game with one of my friends, we put a dime with double sidded tape on our target and shot from 30 yrds, and I won $50 off him. the first one to hit the dime gets five bucks from the other guy. all and all it was a good day of shootting. well 3 more weeks till opener, and it sure does seem to be taking it sweet time getting here... good luck to you all and I will talk to you later..

Hey team just checking in. 9 days till season opener with 2nd son due anytime. Beginning of season could be a little slow for me but I'm pumped up anyway.

Not much going on here except practice, practice, practice. I'm feeling rather confident. I am ready. Eight more days for me too....YAHOOOOOO!
As you can see I'm a bit excited. :)
