State of the Biggest Buck?
 
What State will the biggest buck come from in 2005? (In Contest)

In 2004, it was from Kansas.

What is your Guess? Why?

I said Ohio simply because of what I have seen/heard about that place lately.

I'll tell ya one thing though, as hard as it might be to believe for some, it wouldn't suprise me if the biggest buck came from Pennsylvania this year.The amount of bucks and the average size of bucks this year is absolutely crazy, last night alone I saw 5 bucks while setting up a treestand that would have all went over the 130" mark. There are alot of guys from PA in the contest, and if the rest of the state is like my area, we are gonna see some good numbers from PA this year.

BM is right, Pa could be a sleeper but if I had to bet the farm, I'd bet on Illinois!

I am certain one of my monsters from here in Illinois will be near or at the top.Atleast I am hoping it comes from me LOL

I'm gonna say Illinois for two reasons:

1. They have big bucks.
2. We have a lot of hunters from Illinois in the contest. Illinois and Pennsylvania seem to be the most represented states on these boards,from a very unofficial observationby me.

The two items above say the odds are in Illinois' favor.

Wisconsin.
The had the most P&Y bucks last year.

Illinois. No doubt about it. Although, Minnesota has taken the most P&Y bucks of all.

Take a look at this table. Also note that 55% of Ohio's archers use a crossbow. Not to shabby 45% of our archers have us in 4th place in record book entries;)
