joejr69, WOW!!! I hope the other one is hanging around for ya.

shootem, the area I hunt is very mountainous. I hunt over intersecting logging roads. During the rut, this is the best place to catch them. Like I said early, I have taken two weeks off during the rut and I plan on being perched up in a tree during these two weeks. I don't do much scouting because there really isn't any feeding/bedding areas, so to speak. The deer go wherever and whenever. This area has the biggest bucks in the state. I have never connected with the Monsters thats there, but I got the feeling that this is going to be my lucky year...

Nice deer joejr for sure! Maybe you will run into the other one...that would be real nice!

Ok it looks like everyone checked in! Cool! We have a good diverse group and it sounds like everyone is pumped! And most are on some decent deer to, which is a plus!

Ok guys, lets get a name...throw out some more suggestions. So far we have:

Team Nub Buck
Team Slickheads
Team Blood Trailers
Team Long Tines
Team Tall Tines (TTT)
Team Lung Busters
Team Buck Busters
Team Buck Slayers
Team Rack Masters
Team Arrow Slingers
Team Arrowheads
Team Buck Stoppers
Team Antler Addicts
Team BloodtrailBuck Bandits
Team Ball Busters
Team WANAWUPSUMAZZ

We also need to pick a team captain. Any volunteers?

Just planted some clover plots this spring but with the lack of rain they didn't get too thick. Hope they thicken up before fall hits. Never got out with the cam due to house projects but know there are some nice bucks running around due to sightings by the neighbors. Going to start building a coup blind so I can take my son (4 yr.) out with me some this fall. He wants to go so bad and can't wait for his new bow. Santa may be bringing it for him early if I can help it!!! Both properties I hunt have been logged in the past 2-3 years so we have some good growth coming up which should help with the number of deer we will see in our woods. There are only two of us that bow hunt so the odds are good for us to get a crack at a nice one first. Heading to the shop right now to tune up my rig after shooting all spring and summer it needs a little tweaking. I don't plan on missing if I canhelp it!!!! Later

Let's get a team captain first, and then pick a name and logo. Would any disagree with that?

A suggestion for team captain -- the person with the most posts???
