Here are a couple of pics of my bird! I posted the full story in the bowhunting forum. I'm sorry for the bad pic but I took them my self with the remote from my video camera, hence the remote in the pic! This was my 1st and it means alot to me!

Thanks Dad!

Welp, yet another weekend passes with no deer down. Sat evening I didnt' see a thing, Sun morning I had a doe and two little ones come by me right at first light but just couldn't pull the shot off, then last night I only saw a doe and a yearling a few hundred yards off in a cut corn field opposite the bedding area I was watching.

I'm gonna try to sneak out for one more hunt during the week here locally, then it's back down so Southern IL next weekend. I'm hoping to at least get a doe before the rut really starts to kick in. Buck movement around here is slim to none right now. In 13 times on stand this year I've seen exactly ONE buck. [:@]

Reporting in,no luck yet.We have been experiencing 25 to 30 mph winds all weekend.Sat. evenings I decided not to sit in my stand because of the high winds, wasn't in the mood for a rodeo ride.I sat on the ground about 150 yards from my stand over looking a scub field.Saw a big doe at 5:30,she skirted behind me at 20 yards. Then at 5:45 I saw movement below me ,a large body, then I saw rack looked to be a nice 10 point and low and behold he walks the run right into my stand[:@]Saw a small doe a bit later and she passed 20 yards right infront of me.No luck yesterday saw a couple doe off in the distance. Some big ones are running so I'll bide my time.I going out latter this afternoon as the wind is finally dieing down a bit.Good luck all

I am going out tonight. I saw a good 4 point last time out but never got close enough. Got a full moon tonight so hopefully the deer will be moving and I will see one of the big ones again.

Thats a great deer. He looks like he has a really big body. We are in second place now. Hopefully we can move up. I went out last night with the full moon and saw a ton of does and not one single buck. I was a little disappointed. I think I may be going out again tonight.
