RE: Offical "Perfect Tens" (10) Team Thread!
What some of you don't know there has been alot of information about this animal behind the scene and other photos appearing on other sites that doubt the validity of a bowkill. ND's shotgun season was open at the time of this animal and mic only brags about shooting his Reflex and never once mentioned traditional gear.....the other photos speak for themselves. Not only do I doubt the buck was shot with a bow, let alone a recurve but I have doubt he even shot it at all.....per the other photos. IMO

Rob
The General Deer Season is going on here in ND. It started the 4th of Nov and ends tomorrow. Most term it as the rifle season since most use rifle... but when filling the tag any legal hunting weapon can be used during this season. Bow, shotgun, muzzle loader, pistol or rifle are alllegal weapons for this season. You also can bowhunt using your archery tag during the General Deer Hunting Season... but no other weapon can be in your possession other then a bow. The General tag is on the buck and not an archery tag. That still means nothing in terms of what was used to shoot it, since any legal hunting weapon can be used. I have seen two pictures he posted on two other sites where he claimed he shot it besides this site. One picturewith the recurve in it and one without. It is the same guy in both pictures. He did not go into detail other then saying he shot it. On another post he started... he asked about information on a good taxidermist because he wanted to getthis buckmounted. Why would he do that if he didn't shoot it?? I have no doubt he shot it from what I've seen from his posts on two other sites unless you know more then what I have seen. Whether he shot it with recurve, compound or rifle... I have no clue. I know he shoots aReflex Superslam compound but this isn't his first bow which he bought not long ago ( maybe a year ). I have no idea what he shot before buying it. I hope he isn't getting a bum rap if he is being truthful. Especially over a " fun " contest. Right now, I sure couldn't say he isn't being truthful. No proof to prove it. It is too bad either way. Tim |
RE: Offical "Perfect Tens" (10) Team Thread!
I understand the season and tags as the information was sent to me by another ND resident member. Trust me, there has been a lot transpired behind the scenes and the reaction of this young man to a fellow mod in his reply speaks for itself. There is more facts that meets the eye not to mention his vicious attack on this site in a PM and email. Also, an expert traditionalist said it was nearly impossible to shoot that recurve from the blind he said he shot it from. Any way, he chose to pull himself from the contest in a hissy fit....not to much to consider after that.

Sad no matter how you look at it. Thanks for the reply. Tim |

Now all you guys see why I, and others, think the rules should be followed to a T... No if, ands, or buts about....... People will and do lie, even in a contest for fun...... I suspect his isn't the only non-legitimate entry in this contest...

RE: Offical "Perfect Tens" (10) Team Thread!
Guys, I got this great buck early in the season but I didn't want to post the pictures until now. I know you all think that I'm shooting a Bowtech, but I decided to use my Mathews on this day. You know, just to switch it up a bit and keep things ineteresting. :D
