Good to hear from you Deerslayer ,sound's as though your in the right spot so stick with it because you may be the next to score for the Autumn Ninja's. Do you have a rangefinder if so try ranging your yardage's while in your treestand so that you know your distance's when the deer is within these point's you won't need to guess .Good luck and thank's for posting ,let us know how your making out ,this is what it's all about reading about each other's experience's help's us other's not make different mistake's and how some thing's work best in different situation's .

went out tonight didn't see any deer. got to watch a ruffed grouse all night though. That was a experience all in itself he kept puffing himself up and making all kinds of chirps. The depressing part is squirrel and grouse season comes in tomorrow! if he woulda just showed up one day later he woulda been table fair. But thats how it goes. I had a very enjoyable peaceful evening sitting in the woods eventhough i didnt see any deer. Thats y i love hunting, its so darn relaxing. I'll be going out tomorrow evening to our hunting lease so hopefully i can connect with the buck who has 2 scrapes and 4 rubs within 25yds of my stand. I saw him earlier in the summer i believe he's nothing huge prob goes around 100" or so but he's sure sounding good to me right now. . I gotta go get my small game vest ready for squirrel hunting trip with my buddy in the morning so ill catch up with u fella's later. I hope someone had some luck for us tonight. Good luck boys.

Well I got a chance to go out yesterday morn for a couple hr's 9;00 till 11:30,but not a deer to be seen, but then again at this time of season there's not much happening at this time of day so I wasn't expecting too much anyway's.As we get closer to the rut then any time of day could be good for those buck's wandering in mid day looking for doe's in estrus.I also got to watch 2 young partridge wandering around in front of me ,but by the time I got another arrow nocked they had wandered off into the pine's.
I'm going to go out this afternoon and we'll see if we can at least get a glimps of a buck .At least this time I'll be out at prime time and the odd's are a little more in my favour .I'll let you's all know how thing's go tonight .
Good luck to all of you's guy's ,let's get out and put some more inch's on our score card .

Well guy's !

How's everyone making out with the hunting ? I was out today for a bit ,but the wind's have been dangerously high pretty much all weekend and I've had kid's busy with hockey tryout's as well so I haven't done a whole lot of hunting .I went out this morning ,but after a hr in stand thought that getting out of my stand might be a very good idea due to the wind's snapping branch's off some tree's near me in the bush, also I had a lot of dirt bike's running the trail's near me ,I bet there must have been 1000bike's in all through the trail's .When I left the bush they had the road all blocked off because they had a moto cross competition going on and they were some surprised when they seen me driving out of the wood's .The wind's are still very high ,so I have my doubt's that I'll get out again tonight ,but I,m planning on tomorrow morn as long as the wind subside's.I hope everyone else's hunting is going well and they're not having to contend with the high wind's as I have been .But there is some good new's with all the non hunting. My buddy and I went for a walk in the bush and found where a good buck has been scraping all to hell ,so we hauled in a couple section's of ladder and a fixxed stand and set it up ,he look's to be a nice buck at least by the way he's gotten the tree's scraped up ,so we placed it near his trail ,so we'll see what happen's now that the temp's have been dropping .

Let's go get another one guy's ,good luck to you's all
