hey guys, sorry i havent been around much lately. I lost my job of 14 yrs a few months back. Since then things havent been quite the same. Anyway I have onlybeen out hunting a few times this year and during the rut I missed a nice 10pt. Seen a lot of smaller boys but just let them go by. Now I would just be happy if I get the time to get out and get a doe or something for the freezer. I still have until the end of Jan. Anyways I just wanted to say congratulations to the team for the deer you have harvested and to the points you have put up for us. Once again sorry for not contributing and lack of communication in my part. But it is now 06 a whole new year. Happy new year fellas, good luck...

Well guys my season is over and no bucks again this year. I did see a few small ones but nothing that I could have gotten a shot at anyway.

Well I went out yesterday for my last bow hunt of the year as the season ends this Thursday in Illinois.
I didn't see any bucks but got to see several does and fawns.
I made a great shot on a nice doe - right through the center of her heart - she piled up less than 20 yards.
Plenty of meat in the freezer now to last through the off season!
