That is a cool banner. You guys might want to rethink your Mail Men name though. The mail men around here also deliver everytime... they justare always late anddeliver it to the wrong place.

Antler Eater

What is this 10 men and a buck comment??? You be Smack talking yourpast team mates?? The gloves are off now buddy. To think we were friends.

Truth be told, I pass on all the bucks last year so they would get another year older and bigger to crush the score of anything you got this year!!! Well that's my story and I am sticking to it. Has nothing to do with orsomething I would even admit...I possibly screwed up and couldn't get the deed done.

I'll be watching you !!! And yes your butt looks fat in a short skirt. Well that's what everyone else said on our team last year when you were cheerleading us!! I wasn't looking !! [:'(]

Mail Men sounds great to me. Cool logo Matt! If you have time, might be nice to see one or two other designs you could work up since you do such great work.

Tim,
Heh heh, you nearly made me spit my diet pepsi all over my monitor...

"I wasn't looking" ... sure, that is what they all say ....

Oh now we see your evil plan...Holding out on your old teammates were you...That means whatever score you post this year will have to be divided by two and the dividend added to mine. ...How naive can I be? To think I bought into my friend's hard luck "no trees around here" excuses time after time...Goodness sakes alive....But......But....to come right out and say my rear end looks fat...er ...big....well.....that is the ultimate putdown! ....Where is my medication....I am no doubt scarred for life!....Now please excuse my while I go find my Jane Fonda excercise video....

P.S.
.......I thought Ten Men and a Buck was rather cute......

OHBowhunter----I am hoping to hear from a few more guys hopefully later today about the team name and M.Hensler is working on the team logo.He made an awesome banner for us back a page or 2 and we asked if he has any more ideas.I am sure he is doing a great job.
I figure we have 4 votes in favour of Mail Men(we always deliver)If we dont hear from anymore of the team members tonight ,then I will change the Thread and hopefully everyone is happy.
Whats everyone doing for excitement?Other then work
I have spent a better part of the weekend with the family at the young guys ball tournament in Ottawa. They didnt do so well this time around[:-]But they definately had fun.
Anyways, lets hear some more about everyone and what they do on there off-time.
If its agreed we change the name tonight, then M.Hensler can hopefully make up an awesome banner and will be all said and done.

I remember those "baseball days". My children are grown up and have left the nest.

Thursday morning in the wee hours I head for the Colorado Rockies in search of the majectic Wapiti. It will be a "do it yourself" trip. I will be gone for about two weeks or so before I have to come back. If I don't score in that time frame I will make another trip back and try to take one the last week or so of the season.

You guys are going to have to carry the torch while I am gone. Our deerseason starts here October 1st. I will miss opening morning but should be able to get out that night.

Got to run.....

Sorry, i have'nt been in here for a few days, took the wife on a mini vacation over the weekend.
I love the banner, but not to keen on the name. I think it will be a free for all for the other teams smack talk. but I will go with the majority.
How about

Extreme 1 ! just a little about my son's baseball team ,this season they went 17-0 for the season then they went 3-0 in their tourny ,sure was an awsome year for his team .We got a call last week asking if Jared would be available for the All-star team ,they pick 3 guy's off each team .I couldn't be more proud of him and his team .
Also TerryM and my friend Tom and I went to Mckellar today to bait our bear's again, the bear's have been hitting them and hopefully continue to do so .We'll go back later in the week and bait again. We also watched a young doe swim for about 100yrds down river,Tom and I followed it down the river till it finally swam back to the bank and ran off into the bush ,I've never seen a deer swim before ,espeacially that far .It was pretty cool .I had my digital camera with me but had left it in the truck so I wouldn't lose it ,I was ticked after seeimg that .It would have been pretty cool to post it on the forum for everyone to see .
Anyway's talk to you later my friend.

John

And how about Ontario and everywhere else people are from?
Well chucker34,I,ll be hunting mainly my favorite hunting grounds,1000 acres of prime whitetail habitat. It has a little of everything,a big private lake at the end of the property, swamps, fields, bush, hardwoods, and alot of pines and cedars where the deer bed down.My fav stand is placed in a transition zone between a corn field and soyebean in the hardwoods, and just put up another stand last weekend.Im pumped this season and seen 3 big bucks that frequent the area regulary.
