ORIGINAL: Western MA Hunter

I forgot... you guys got any ideas for team name?
Leverdude... where in CT do you hunt? I only hunt early season in the Canaan area.

I'm in Fairfield county, in Norwalk. I hunt anywhere down here I can. Wilton, New Cannan, Norwalk & Weston so far for this year. Its getting easier to gain acess but I dont have enough free time to take full advantage of it.

For a name,,, How bout #1 ;)

I'm shooting a 2004 Bowtech Patriot, really love it.

As for a team name I kind of like "The Lucky 13". :D

I'm mostly shooting an older Martin but have a Bear compound for back up. I like "Lucky 13" too.

I shoot a Buckmaster 2001s.

Tyler and I did some scouting tonight. We tracked down a buck, I tried for last year. He is a big, mature5 pt ( western count ) and has only gotten bigger. We got a game planfor him aswe know that area pretty well.

Then we found the monster of all bucks. He's got it all...Wide, tall tined and massive. Even once he looses his velvet he will be huge. Safe to say this is one of the biggest bucks I've ever seen in this area. At least a 5 pt and he has some age to him. He is a brute but in a tough spot to bow hunt. We've got ourhomework cut out for usnow trying to figure him out from a safe distance. Bow season starts 16 days from now. He was running with another buck that wasn't a slouch either.

This is a buck we have scouted already... The two bucks we saw tonight are bigger!!

We saw 14 bucks in all by the time it was dark. Pretty darn good night for scouting.

I like "lucky-13" for a team name.

I shoot a 2004 Darton Typhoon, WB rest, Montana black gold sight & Easton XX-78 Super Slam Arrows.

I will be hunting antelope, elk, mule deer & whitetail deer.

Houston we have a problem !! We only have 9 members to our team. We are suppose to have 10. I'll get a hold of Rob and get it straightened out.

So far everyone has responded except for mrfritz44.

We need a captain. Lucky-13 is fine by me also.

Nice pics TJF... wow... hope you stick 'em!
I like "Lucky 13" as well.
I am shooting an '04 Hoyt Vipertec.
Went for a walk yesterday and found a great new spot loaded w/ oaks on the edge of a swamp & beaver pond. Lots of sign. Gonna go back this week and hang a couple of stands and stay out until Oct.
