Juddie, I just checked out your website, AWESOME. I like the poem about walking in your dad's footsteps. It's nice to have pictures to look back on. My family never really took alot of pictures of hunting outings. But I always take a camera with me and have been taking pictures these last couple of years.
Oh and Juddie, by the looks of that camper, "You might be a redneck."

Thanks Deer902. I got some more pictures I need to put on there, just haven't gotten them scanned yet.
I am very proud of both of my sons, Jerod the youngest who wrote that poem has taken to hunting as bad as me. Brandon the oldest, didn't take to hunting like Jerod has, but he understands the love Jerod and I have for it.
Yea, you like those campers!!
I did the bus from scratch, of course it isn't mine, it belongs to my father in law, but I did all the work to get it where it is today. The blue camper well now that is mine...the guy I got it from was a NASCAR fan...I want to camo it in Advantage Timber...I wonder how much of that wrap I would need to get....

Not much chatter going on here. That's OK we'll talk once the arrows start flying.
How 'bout some background on everybody.
My name is Bob. I'm 31 with a wife of 8 years and 2 daughters, 7 and 4. I live right outside Pittsburgh, about 12 miles north. I started archery hunting in 98 and shot my one and only buck in 2001. Since then I have passed ona couple smaller bucks. I manage to take 1 or 2 does in archery season each year and another in gun season. I have pretty much self taught myself everything I know about hunting and fishing. My family does hunt(no archery)and fish but they are more traditionalist and are hard pressed to try anything new.
I work as a cemetery manager for a non-profit cemetery and have been here since 1994. Yeah, yeah, "I dig my work." and "Business is dead." I've heard them all. I actually live on the cemetery grounds so my neighbors are REAL quiet.

1st off Elkinmtcwb, as soon as I realized you had my wallet, I canceled all my credit cards and I knew there wasn't any cash. Bwahahahahahahaha.
Actually, i'd been lookin all over for it, but you were on my short list of contacts before I was gonna really start to panic. You know i need my drivers license to get my archery safety affidavit (
) so I can even go bowhuntin in this god forsaken state. Thanks, call you tommorrow.
Boys, if throwing starr doesn't show up ol'Elkinmtcwb would make a fine replacement. for his hunting ability, certainly not his personality or spelling ability. Just don't ask him who's been kickin his but on the range (hint:me). We snuck up on some elk Sunday morning. had a lot of fun.
Hey Bob, I can't get the logo to work, I copied the entire thing including the boxes then deleted the space. Any ideas? If not I'll ask one of the staff here. btw, I love the Steelers (used to listen to Myron Cope on the radio and turn the volume down on the TV), and can name the starting lineup of the 1979 world champion pittsburgh pirates ("we are family"--sister sledge) grew up in WV (Moorefield (home place of the greatest people in the World)), went to school at WVU, moved out her a couple of years ago. I'm 35 and have a fiance. work in accounting, and this will be my first year bowhunting in MT. Last year (my first ever rifle season here) i got a nice antelope and muley buck and blew an opportunity (to get a shot) on a trophy ELk. So this year, I'm chompin at the bit to get some archery revenge on those critters. I have killed dozens of whitetail bucks back in WV. A lot with my rifle, and several with my bow as well. I've killed three decent bucks, and one real trophy for WV, but grew up considering all bucks shooters. I've grown out of it though. Season starts here Sept 3, (Saturday). Can't wait

Name here is Juddie, I guess I am one of the newest to this site and the newest guy in the contest.
I am an Environmental Resource Specialist with the WV Dept. of Environmental Protection, Office of Mining and Reclamation.
I am from and live in West Virginia and have been hunting for 25 years. I am a member of the Run and Gun Hunting Club in Fayette County, WV.
I like to do all forms of hunting, from archery, rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader and pistol. I hunt squirrel, grouse, turkey, deer and hope to hunt bear sometime. I am a reloader, I reload my own ammo from rifle to pistol and shotgun.
I sure hope I can offer a nice score to the team this year. I want to thank Deer902, for contacting me and letting me know I was on the team.
Good luck to all those on the team.

Chad, looks like you got that logo working. I think we may have to wait until Sept some time before taking alternates, but it'd be cool to have your buddy on with us.
I went to school at West Liberty in WV back in 92-93. Not sure if that is anywhere near where Juddie lives or where you used to live. Beautiful country up on the hill, just too many bars.
That's why I'm going back to school this fall.I just hope I still have enough time to hunt. With my daughter's dance classes, I coach both of their soccer teams, school work, and a job, this fall should be real eventful.
We're going to start hanging stands this week. We open up first week in Oct. My brother in law and I took my 3D target out in the woods last week. We set it up and walked all around it taking the hardest shots we could find. It was like a mini 3D shoot. We're going to try and do it this week too. It's a nice change of pace from just shooting in the back yard.
