Is Fayette Co. one of the bow-only counties in southern WV? I've heard there are some real nice ones in those bow only counties

Hillbillyhunter, Fayette County isn't one of those counties. The counties you are refering to are McDowell, Logan, Mingo and Wyoming Counties. They do have some real nice bucks, really really nice. The terrian is rough and makes hunting that much harder. A lot of the land to hunt on is owned by mining companies, but they usually don't have problems with people hunting them.

We're still missing Throwing star. Anybody know him?

hey everybody, my name is Charley and Im from Maryland.........Im not gonna say a word about this years hunting season, because last year I was on a team, and I talked alot of smack because in the previous 2 outta 3 years I shot P&Y deer, but the year I entered the contest I got skunked. So.....lets just say, I have a good place to hunt and the potential is there, its just a matter of my luck this year. here is a pic of my first one .....he is a 9 point and weighed 160 lbs.........scored 126 1/4

p.s. oh by the way I shoot a Hoyt Cybertec........gotta love tha Hoyts!!!!!

Nice deer Charley. I pm'd throwing starr last night too. It feels like bob (deer902) is kind of organizationally minded around here, so I'm nominating him for captain if he wishes. I thought of other names while typing this.....buckaholics? antler grabbers? gutshooters? ultimate ungulates? nimrods? I don't know if any of these were ever used somewhere else. I wasn't in the contest last year.

I'll take captain if no one else wants it, although Mossyoak looks like he may be the pro when it comes to shooting the big boys. I like the name Buckaholics. Never heard that one before. I don't know what an Ungulate is so I can't comment on that one.
