I like the banner. Looks like it's in spec too. Might try to make the Team #23 a little bigger. Then again, maybe it doesn't matter since we have a name [8D]

I'll second your nomination. Looks like both of ya'll have been here a while and should be able to keep the rest of us in line
:cough: ADD boy :/cough:

RE: Official Team 23 Thread

Ok what we have here is an obviousfailure to communicate........:(
I'm going to dish out some opinions and advice here:
[ul][*]I didn't see where Lady Forge was being cocky or trying to take charge of anything initially(just an additional effort to get a nice usable banner)......I think a few "Smack talk" comments with someone she obviously knows was taken incorrectly by A.D.D Boy. Certainly nothing that warranted any sort of negative commentary? And in A.D.D Boy's defense I didn't see any "Foul Language"??[*]The comments such as "Kick A.D.D Boy's butt" ect by others are just in fun, As was stated by Lady Forge herself ,sheis probably old enough to be his mom etc and there was some early tension......so this dynamic is an easy target for good nature fun.[/ul]
(I probably would have addedto the ribbing ifthings hadn't alreadygone southas quickly asthey did.)
[ul][*]A.D.D Boy might just be a bit sensitive to authority?[:-]Don't be so quick to defense.......if you have a hard time with good natured ribbing, a direct flame job is gonna be a real treat.:eek:Especially 1 day into getting aquainted. I'm one of the biggest ball busters there is so if we're gonna get worked up at every post you're gonna LOVE me.;)PS. nobody likes the "Keyboard toughguy".......[/ul]

I will accept the nomination as "Team Captain" ,and as your captain I say ,let'sALLknock it off , start over and enjoy this contest.

Lady Forge, meet A.D.D. Boy........A.D.D. Boy, meet Lady Forge........:) XOXOXO

Awe, isn't that sweet! Seems like Matt is falling right into his position. You guys need to work things out, cause soon enough you'll need a shoulder to cry on!

kcison, where you at man? I come over here to rag on you and instead I end up picking on people I don't even know!!!!!!!!!

I do have a problem with authority. Lot of bad expeirences in my life. Its just i can play bust balls and all that. But when people say "kick my butt" is when i get mad. How and were i was raised if you said that your in a fist fight. Its been like that my whole life. Thats why i took such offense. But i can put it all behind and be friends and joke with everyone and everyone can joke with me just dont say your going to "kick my butt".

Wow, if you can't pick on your own team, who can you??

Can't we all just get along?

CAP MATT;
Now that we are all back on track as a TEAM :)Let the games begin , we need to get our 2 missing team members to check in I emailed both to ask them to check in but Rick Teals email was not successful and undeliverable so do we need to PM him?
Do we want to set a deadline for team members to check in before we replace them with an alternate ? Or is there a time frame deadline for members to check in already built into the contest rules that I missed?
I know its the time of year for vacations etc so some members may not be around to check in for extended periods of time so we dont want to exclude them.

RE: Official Team 23 Thread

OK, "Kick your butt" is out, how bout "Put a whippin on ya", or "stomp a mud hole in ya", maybe "beat 'em like a dog"...........
Dude, I was just funnin, I don't think lady forge is gonna show up at your house! You can stop sweatin it! Like I said earlier, you all will be cryin on each others shoulders soon enough! Now, stop frowning and SMILE!:)

Are we a team now?;) Remember, this contest is suppose to be fun and if there's any butt kicking to do, I'll do it. [8D] [8D] Except for Matt, he's a monster of a guy! [&:] Okay were all good right?

We'll give members at least til the end of the month if not a week or so into Sept as our original deadline for entry was Sept 1....if at that time there is a failure of checking in, alternates will be placed. I have a good list of them now so we either need to place them or add another team....I'll make a post asking each team capt to let me know who hasn't checked in and how many alternates they need....

OKAY, EVERYONE HAVE FUN AND A GREAT SEASON......:D.

Can you feel the pressure placed on you by my silence....skin dog and IBM? You know I can back it up. Do I even have to post to be feared? Don't think so.

Sorry to be absent..internet down at home, What would be a hoot, is that my good friend, Skin Dog might actually be able to video tape the buck that puts us on the board. I'll hollar at you this weekend, Dave. Anyhow, season opens up in approx. two weeks. I'm tuned in and ready to go. Got a couple of nice ones wandering around too.

I feel like such a slacker. I havnt show my bow in so long. With the lack of money and my racing i dont have any arrows yet to practice with. All i got to do is sight in at 20 and 30 yards. Then go down to my old neighbors house and fling some broadheads at his deer targets. I wont hunt anyways till it gets real cold for a night to kill the i forget the name worvels or something like that in there body. So i got plenty of time.

Yup, 15 Sept. And it's a good thing, I'm starting to drive my wife crazy. I thinks she is just as happy about hunting season as I am, just so she can get me out of her hair!! By the way how far is Scott Depot form Winchester VA? (That's were I grew up...) I'm familiar with the Inwood and Charlestown area but I've never heard of Scott Depot... wait that's not near Paw Paw is it?

I just grabbed my father-in-law's Q2 to shoot and hunt with. Unbelievable how much difference it makes.:D Right off the bat I was shooting groups with 5 of 6 arrows touching at 30 yards.

You can't count outfitter bucks? What's with that, new rule this year? I didn't think that passed the rules committee. Anyhow, Guess I have to put Bucky in his place, on my own land.

Dave, man with all the work at the house, my internet has been down and I haven't been as attentive to my "business" as I should have, except for tuning my bow. I still owe you a call.

A.D.D what bike are you beating yourself up on?.........I'm an old school backwoods racer from the late 80's and early 90's. My lastriding partnerwas a KX500.;)
A broken wrist, wripped up knee and a dislocated shoulder later and I hung up motocross bikes altogether. I can still feel that power just suspended in mid air sailing over jumps.
It was funny I haven't been on a motocross bike since 91' and then just last summer a good friend of mine got himself a KDX 225 enduro bike and brought it to our hunting camp work session. If he would have seen what I was doing on that bike he would have stroked out.:DThe old fearless mentality was gone after 14yrs but I couldn't help but "goose" her a little bit.;)

I have been practicing my shooting........well hell actually I haven't really stopped since about 1984.:D
Last night I was flinging broadheads already and they are just flat out ready to go.
I need to settle down as the season is still over 5 weeks away.

NinerPilot 08-24-2005 10:58 PM

RE: sweet

I still need to get broadheads for this year... I was using some Thunder 100's last year, but had my arrows cut to only allow mechanicals. Im thinking of getting some Tekan G5's, but Im still unsure. I still have a month to decide and tune.

Yep ... have been out practicing and setting up one ofthe other bows for hunting season... Lost 1800 acres of prime hunting land :([:'(]:([:'(]due to transfer of ownership of land due to a lawsuit seetlement... but did pick up a new piece of private land to hunt last week with a great looking big ole 11 pointer on it and I ( got to see his matched sheds from last year ) he has some thick mass... so did some scouting and been preping equip and safety checking stands, hanging stands etc... There is a definite cooler snap in the evening air that really gets me fired up for bowhunting season;)

Right now i got a RM 125 we got it for 2 grand practically brand new. Tryin to get a new 4-stroke honda or suzuki. The track was worn down were i was racin/practicing last night. Over 600 riders for a GP so i kept over shootin this one jump and finally it said the hell with me and bye bye brand new handlebars. Going to get some Renthals tomorrow. Would get pro tapers but dont have the kinda money to spend on new clamps and then the bars.

Good luck KC hope you put down a big one.
