Nope he hasnt checked in. If you search him on the memberlist no such member names lungbuster101 shows up. I say go ahead and get an alternate.

What you'll need to do is, go to "My Profile" and then type:

into you signature. Then you should be ready to go. Let me know if it doesn't work, and I can try to help

Looks good tagout. So what's everyone's strategy for the contest? I'm going to try and shoot the first buck I see unless it's a spike or button because it will be my first buck and I like the meat. Also I think for overall team strategy, the more bucks we enter, regardless of size, the better the chance of being up there with a chance to win.

KS, you just stick to shooting one of those biggins you have out there.:D

I'm going out hunting tomarrow, but I'm not hunting, just taking my girlfriend out with the muzzleloader. It's the early Muzzleloader season opening tomarrow. We'll be at my hunting spots, so i'll get to do a good amount of scouting of the deer herd. I'm getting pretty anxious to get to the stand.

Once archery season opens, i'll hold out for a P&Y buck, unless it's the last week of season, where if I feel like shooting a young one I will. But hopefullyI won't have to worry about it.:D Season opens Oct 1. here. When is everybody else heading out?

First day for me is Sept. 16...next friday. Got my stand location picked out and I'm ready to go. Been seeing a decent amount of deer there so hopefully I'll get a chance to take a doe or a buck if I should be so lucky.

Well, I went out over the weekend, and the hunting was pretty slow. Temperatures were in the 90's and the deer weren't moving hardly at all. Saw a few does anda couple young 6 & 7 point bucks. The deer weren't really in the timber, but instead in the CRP, and agriculture. But even though the spiderwebbs were thick, and misquitoes out for blood, we did have a pretty good time.
