Real nice deer recurver. Nope nobody has scored yet. I had a little 6 point that I was gonna shoot if he came if range but he never closed the gap from 50 yds.

Hey, I had a nice weekend but didn't take any deer. I saw 7 deer, almost all in shooting range. Six does and one 7 pointer that was only in the 75" class range. Sorry but he was just too small for me to shoot. It was in the morning and he was cruising the acorns and I'm only allowed one a day and was looking for the 110" class 8 pointer I have on film, that I was going to set up for in the afternoon. Unfortunately he didn't show up. Lots of does in the area though.

Had a doe come right down where I wanted the buck to come last night. She sniffed the base of the tree I was in and nibbled some saplings in the area. Was too early to give up on a buck so I let her walk. Saw one other (sex unknown) further up the hill but heading perpendicular to me. Rain for the next three days and some RL interruptions until Sat.

Just got back from Wyoming last night. We both tagged out, in the first 2 days. Then we vacationed on the 3rd. And the coolest thing was that I also proposed to her, which she accepted. I couldn't think of a better girl in the world than her, to be with. Here are some pics.

Congratulations, on both the engagement and the lope.

Anyone else seen anything?or been out? Tropical storm Tammy has us in rain for the next three days. I'll still go out Saturday but can't until then so no big deal with rain.
